Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachments made by the sixth respondent in S.No.624/18 in Kunnathur Village, Kalimnagalam Post, Madurai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2019 within the time frame fixed by this Court and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the fifth respondent.

Ms.M.R.Gomathy, Village Administrative Officer, Kunnathur II BIT, East Taluk, Madurai is present in Court and submitted to the learned Government Advocate that she has visited the spot and found that the waste water is getting drained openly and affecting the petitioner and other residents. She has also stated that appropriate action will be taken to remedy the breach.

3. The said submission is placed on record and necessary action be taken within a period of three weeks from today (i.e., 18.10.2019).
