Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2025 and to rectify the Petitioner's Date of Birth as 26.08.1986 in the Petitioner's Passport bearing Passport No. Z4212414 in light of the order passed by the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court in W.P.(MD)No.12268 of 2025 dated 29.04.2025 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation to implement the order passed by this Court dated 29.04.2025 in WP(MD)No.12268 of 2025, wherein, the petitioner has sought the following relief. Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to rectify the date of birth in the degitized birth certificate as in the original handwritten birth certificate by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.11.2024.

2. The learned Central Government Standing Counsel for the respondent submits that the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2025 will be considered and acted upon.

3. Recording the same, there shall be a direction to the respondent to pass appropriate orders in pursuance of the order passed by this Court in WP(MD)No.12268 of 2025 dated 29.04.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
