ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the Impugned Order in Moo.Moo.Enn. 5609/A5/2024 dated 18.11.2024 on the file of the 4th respondent which approved the constitution of the school committee which is against Rule 24 of Tamilnadu Private School (Regulation) Rules, 2023 and quash the same as illegal and further pass appropriate order in the light of petitioners representation dated 04.07.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. It is now brought to the notice of this Court that thereafter, a Committee has been constituted as per the new Act on 29.08.2025, where under a new School Committee has been constituted. Therefore, the cause of action for filing this writ petition is no longer existing as the writ sought to challenge the constitution of the earlier committee approved by the 4th respondent viz., the District Educational Officer (Secondary) as per the earlier Act.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the constitution new Committee. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
