O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order, dated 12.07.2022, made in W.P.(MD) No.1038 of 2022.

2. This Court, by order dated 12.07.2022 in W.P.(MD) No.1038 of 2022, directed the Tahsildar, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District, to conduct a survey and in the event of identifying any encroachment, the same was directed to be removed.

3. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, based on the instructions given by the Tahsildar, Vedasandur Taluk, submitted that a survey, as directed by this Court, was conducted and the encroachments identified by the authorities were removed by following the procedures as contemplated. To substantiate the said submission, the learned Government Advocate has furnished a copy of the letter dated

14.11.2023, sent by the Executive Officer, Ayyalur Town Panchayat, Dindigul District, to the Government Advocate, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai and the letter, dated 28.12.2022, sent by the Tahsildar, Vedasandur Taluk, to the Executive Officer, Ayyalur Town Panchayat, Dindigul District.

4. In view of the fact that the encroachments were already removed, no further adjudication is required in respect of the grounds raised in this contempt petition.
