This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey and measure the petitioner's property in S.Nos.25/1 and 29/1 measuring an extent of 0.3.00 acres situated at Kovilpappakudi, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, on the basis of his representation, dated 30.09.2022.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has produced the copy of the letter sent by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District and submitted that the land in S.Nos.25/8 and 29/3 in Plot Nos.26 and 25 to an extent of 3341 sq.ft. was measured by the Sub Inspector of Survey on 24.08.2022. He further submitted that the land in S.Nos.25/8 and 29/3 has been acquired and it has been converted into a road and the land in S.Nos.25/1 and 29/1 is not in possession of the petitioner.
