O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by a son of the deceased employee of the fourth respondent Municipality, seeking a Mandamus to consider his representation for granting compassionate appointment.

2. According to the petitioner, his father namely, V.Ramesh, who was working as a Sweeper in the fourth respondent Municipality, was medically invalidated, based upon the medical report dated 31.05.2023. The petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 06.08.2024, seeking compassionate appointment. Since the said representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. 2/5

4. Considering the above said facts, the fourth respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.08.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
