ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to provide individual water supply connection to the petitioner's house, based on the representation made by him on 07.09.2021. 1/4

2. It is seen from the pleadings in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition that there was some dispute between the petitioner and one Subramani, who had made objections for the supply of water connection to the residence belonging to the petitioner. It resulted in civil proceedings and the petitioner claims that he had succeeded in the civil proceedings. In view of the same, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent seeking for individual water connection. Since the same was not acted upon, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 07.09.2021 and take a decision within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and convey the same to the petitioner.
