This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 19.09.2022 and further restrain the fourth 2/6

respondent from installing power tower and laying High Volt Power line in the petitioner's agriculture land in Thoothukudi Village, Mandu Thandu Village, S.No.797 and 798.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the employees of the Electricity Board are trying to erect tower in the petitioner's land in S.Nos.797 and 798 situated at Thoothukudi Village, Mandu Thandu Village. Hence, she has made a representation to the respondents on 19.09.2022. Since the respondents have not considered the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 5.

4. Considering the above facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 19.09.2022 and pass appropriate 3/6

orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
