O R D E R

This Contempt petition has been filed alleging disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.18966 of 2020, dated 03.11.2020. 2.The writ petition was filed seeking direction to the second respondent to issue separate patta in the name of the petitioner to the property in S.Nos.279/2C, 279/2D, 280/2, 284/2 and 285/2A2 situated at Palayam Village, Gujiliyamparai Taluk, Dindigul District. This Court by order dated 10.11.2021 directed the second respondent to grant individual patta by considering the representation of the petitioner and after completing necessary enquiry. But the same was not considered. Hence, this petition has been filed. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent herein submitted that a civil suit is pending with regard to the land in question. The said suit was filed after the disposal of the writ petition. Hence, the respondent is not in a position to move forward. 2/4

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader and also considering the fact that the civil suit has already been filed after the disposal of the writ petition and the same is pending, it is not necessary for this Court to issue any direction at this stage in this petition. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed.
