Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent in g/K/286/2025/m5 dated 28.07.2025 and quash the same. ORDER

The writ petition is filed challenging the order passed by the 3rd respondent cancelling the assignment in favour of the petitioner and others.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathy, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/5

4. A perusal of the impunged order would indicate the petitioner effectively participated in the enquiry before the 3rd respondent and a copy of the impugned order was also marked to the petitioner. Therefore, there is no violation of principles of natural justice to enable the petitioner to approach this Court straight away by passing the remedy of appeal.

5. In view of the same, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file an appeal before the District Revenue Officer (DRO) within a period of two weeks from today. If any such appeal is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be disposed of by District Revenue Officer (DRO) as expeditiously as possible.
