ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.2280 of 2020 dated 16.10.2020 and to file the final report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. In pursuance of the direction of this Court, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Madurai has submitted a report dated 26.09.2024 stating that the Court has issued memo to the concerned Inspector of Police, K.Pudur Police Station seeking clarification on 26.09.2024 and that the Court has received a report from the concerned Sub Inspector of Police stating that the above referred Crime No.2280 of 2020 on the file of K.Pudur Police Station (L&O) was registered under Section 324 IPC r/w 4 of TNPHW Act and FIR was produced before the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai and final report was also filed on 31.05.2023.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the respondent police has already taken steps to transfer the FIR.

4. Recording the same, the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai is directed to take the charge sheet on file, if it is otherwise in order, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
