ORDER

This petition has been filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, seeking direction against the respondent / The Tahsildar, Madurai North Tahsildar Office, District Collectorate Office Primes, Gandi Nagar Po, Madurai District, to issue a separate patta for the petitioner with respect to the house property in Old Survey No.179/10, New Survey No.257/19 and 257/20 in Patta No.1523 measuring 574 sq.ft at Thenoor Bit-2, Thenoor Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District.

2.The petitioner had given an Online Application on 18.06.2021 and reference to the same has been given as a document in this writ petition. The petitioner had purchased the property on 31.07.2002. As on date, the patta with respect to the property stands in the name of one Muthulakshmi and four other individuals. It is claimed that they are the vendors and relatives of the vendors.

3. A direction is given to the respondent to issue notice to the petitioner with respect to the online application already made on 18.06.2021, issue notice to the other joint pattathars, examine whether there are any objections, survey the land, make a field visit and thereafter if the petitioner is eligible for separate patta, proceed to issue separate patta. W.P(MD)No.21949 of 2021 exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With these observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
