ORDER
This petitioner has filed this writ petition for a mandamus directing the respondents to take steps to remove the temple name in Patta No.31, in Survey No.103/1 admeasuring 4.15.0 Hec situated at Deivacheyalpuram Village, Murappanadu SRO, Palayamkottai Sub-Registration Limit, Palayamkottai Registration District, Srivaikuntam Taluk, Tuticorin Distrcit, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 23.08.2023.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner of the land in Survey No.103/1 and he purchased the said property by a registered deed from one Thirumalaiappan vide document
No.4131/2008 dated 25.11.2008. He further submits that the patta for this land was also issued in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.31. However, the online entry which was available in Tamil Nilam displayed that this land belongs to Seevalperi Chatram. Based on the entry available in the online, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the third respondent to correct and remove the temple name from the patta. But the respondents have not taken any steps. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this present writ petition. 3.The learned counsel for the respondents submits that the land belongs to the temple and therefore, it reflects in the online. 4.This Court considered the rival submissions made on either side. 5.In the event if the petitioner is having any grievance that some wrong entries have been made in the Tamil Nilam, the petitioner shall file an application before the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer along with documents in his favour within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Revenue Divisional Officer shall
also verify the same by issuing a notice to the third respondent and pass suitable orders within a period of six months thereon. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
