"When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation has been completed and the final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Devakottai. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court had granted interim stay on 30.10.2018 not to file a final report. Without noticing the same, the respondent police has filed a final report before the concerned Court.

3.Considering the oldness of the crime, a report be called for from the learned Judicial Magistrate, Devakottai as to the stage of the trial process. 4.List the matter on 03.12.2021."
