Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. In view of the nature of the order now passed, notice is dispensed with for the third respondent. 2.It is stated that the representation/appeal is pending before the first respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovilpatti at Tuticorin District, with respect to mutation of the name of the third respondent in the revenue records.

3.Let me not enter into a discussion on the facts of the case. The issue, however surrounds, the revenue records relating to Patta No.54 in Kalugumalai Village, Kovilpatti Taluk, Tuticorin District, with reference to S.Nos.25/1A2 and 25/1B. Since the appeal is now pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer, a direction is given to the first respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovilpatti at Tuticorin District to dispose of the appeal in manner known to law by following due principles as established on or before 15.02.2022. 4.With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
