************* This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct the tender proceedings in pursuance of the tender notification vide Na.Ka.No.A55/2019/RV No.3, dated 3.10.2019 issued by the second respondent and open the tender in the presence of the third respondent and consequently to direct the respondents to finalize the tender on the supervision of the third respondent. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The Writ Petitioner has taken part in the tender issued by the TASMAC for the grant of licence for the bar attached to Shop No.10408 in Narasingapuram Village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District.

4.The limited scope in the Writ Petition is that the respondents 1 and 2 are conducting tender proceedings in pursuance of the tender notification issued vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A55/2019/RV No.3, dated 3.10.2019 and to open the tender in the presence of the third respondent, who is the District Collector, Tiruchirappalli District and finalize the same. 5.When the matter is taken up for hearing on 2.1.2020, this Court passed an order directing the second respondent to produce all the sealed tenders to this Court. Today, Mr.D.S.Durai Murugan, The Deputy Collector/The District Manager, TASMAC, Trichy District, the second respondent herein, is present with four tenders received by him in a sealed cover. It was opened in the Open Court and the Petitioner has also noted the names of the bidders and offers made by them.

The tender documents are handed over to the second respondent and it is open to the second respondent to award licence to the highest bidder as per the procedure adopted by them. The Petitioner is also satisfied with the opening of the tender conducted in a transparent manner to his satisfaction. 6.With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
