Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 12.11.2018 and to restore the House Tax and Water Tax in the name of Late. N.Balasubramanian, son of Late.Nalliah till the disposal of the civil proceedings between the petitioner along with her sisters and Selvarani wife of their brother late. ORDER
The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 12.11.2018 and to restore the house tax and water tax in the name of Late N. Balasubramanian, son of Late Nalliah, till the disposal of the civil proceedings between the petitioner and her sisters on one side, and Selvarani, wife of their late brother N. Balasubramanian, along with her minor daughter B. Subhasri, on the other, within such time frame as may be fixed by this Court.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was informed that the suit in O.S.No.46 of 2016 on the file of the District Court, Dindigul, had been decreed on 01.04.2025, and based on the said decree, the change of name has already been effected.
