PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to pay just and fair compensation at the present market value for acquisition of the petitioner's land measuring 4.32.0 hectares covered by Adangal No.186, V.M.Chathiram Village, Palayamcottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District, covered by A-Schedule to registered partition deed, dated 29.01.1970 vide Doc.No.127/1970 together with solatium and interest.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to pay just and fair compensation for the petitioner's acquired land to an extent of 4.32.0 hectares, covered by Adangal No.186, in V.M.Chathiram Village, Palayamcottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District, together with solatium and interest.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the award amount of Rs.84,398.97/- was deposited before the Principal Sub Court, Tirunelveli in L.A.O.P.No.5 of 1987 and therefore, liberty may be given to the petitioner to approach the Principal Sub Court, Tirunelveli.

3. In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Principal Sub Court, Tirunelveli. No costs.
