ORDER

This Writ Petition was filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to conduct the enquiry based on the representation made by the petitioner on 29.10.2021, wherein the petitioner has sought for cancellation of Patta issued in favour of the fourth respondent and for grant of Patta in the name of the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the fourth respondent.

3. When the Writ Petition was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the enquiry is pending before the second respondent and that the enquiry date has been fixed on 27.11.2023. 2/4

4. In view of the above, it will suffice if a direction is issued to the second respondent to conduct the enquiry after affording an opportunity to the petitioner and the fourth respondent and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
