ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking direction to direct the respondents No.1 to 3 to provide adequate Police protection to the life and limb of petitioner from the respondents No.4 and 5 by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2022.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the representation that was made by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken and notice was also issued to the petitioner, but he failed to appear before the third repsondent.
3. Return endorsment shows that the petitioner was directed to appear before the third respondent Police on 13.10.2022, but he stated 2/4
that he was suffering from illness, so he could not appear on 13.10.2022, instead, he will appear on 14.10.2022. Even after several days, it appears that he did appear before the third respondent.
4. The petitioner is directed to appear before the third respondent Police. Third respondent may summon the counter party and assess the ground situation whether there is any life threat to the petitioner at the hands of the counter parties. Depending upon the above said assessment, further action can be taken by the authorities and the petitioner.
5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
