ORDER

The petition is filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.351 of 2024 dated 05.08.2024 on the file of the first respondent. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners seeks quashment of the case on compromise. A Joint Compromise Memo between the parties is also filed.

3.Considering the nature of allegations that it is a dispute between the neighbors and on account of the wordy quarrel, the accused is further said to have attacked the victims in this case and all the victims being present and both sides submitted that they have since compromised the issue and are living amicably in the locality and all the three victims submitting that they do not want to press the case any further, I am of the 2/4

view that this case will fall within the four corners as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Gian Singh vs. State of Punjab & Another reported in 2012 (10) SCC 303.

4.In view thereof, exercising the extraordinary powers under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, I am inclined to quash the case on compromise. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed and the FIR in Crime No.351 of 2024 shall stand quashed.
