ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the order passed by the 1st respondent herein, wherein, the petitioner has been called upon to submit his explanation for his involvement in several criminal cases.
2. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 2 to 6 brought to the notice of the Court that atleast there are 10 criminal cases 2/6
pending against the writ petitioner. Out of the 10 cases, in four of them, the petitioner has been charge-sheeted.
3. The petitioner has been charge-sheeted in CC Nos.293 of 2025 and 329 of 2025 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Peravurani. The petitioner has also been charge-sheeted in CC Nos.152 of 2025 and 288 of 2025 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai.
4. The petitioner is an accused in Crime No.204 of 2025 on the file of the 5th respondent police station, which has culminated in filing of charge-sheet before the Judicial Magistrate, Peravurani, which is yet to be taken on file. The petitioner is also involved in another criminal case in Crime No.66 of 2024 on the file of the third respondent police station, which has culminated in filing of the charge sheet before the Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai, which is yet to be taken on file.
5. The writ petitioner is also involved in Crime Nos.80 of 2025, 204 of 2025 on the file of the 5th respondent police station, which are under investigation. The petitioner is also implicated in a criminal case 3/6
in Crime No.82 of 2024 on the file of the third respondent police station, which is under investigation.
6. The petitioner is also involved in criminal case in Crime No.32 of 2025 on the file of the 4th respondent police station. The petitioner is also involved in a criminal case in Crime No.169 of 2024 on the file of the 6th respondent police station. In both the cases, investigation is pending and the petitioner has also been history-sheeted in HS NO. 607/2021 from 08.07.2021.
7. Considering the above said facts, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
