ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to issue patta in his name in respect of the property situated in Plot No. 243, Survey No.120/3B, measuring to an extent of 2120 Sq.ft, situated at Arumbanur Bit II Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District by considering his application dated 25.06.2025.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.A.Balaji, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by him under sale deed dated 24.08.2001. He submitted an application on 25.06.2025 seeking issuance of patta in his name based on the sale deed. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before

this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
