Respondents PRAYER :Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd and 4th respondents police authorities to forthwith take immediate action by registering a FIR on the basis of the complaint given by the Sub Registrar, Alangulam dated 15.10.2018 pursuant to the orders of the District Registrar, Tenkasi dated 31.08.2018 and conclude the investigation in an expeditiously manner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd and 4th respondents police authorities to forthwith take immediate action by registering a FIR on the basis of the complaint given by the Sub Registrar, Alangulam dated 15.10.2018 pursuant to the orders of the District Registrar, Tenkasi dated 31.08.2018 and conclude the investigation in an expeditiously manner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the strength of the report of the Sub Registrar, Alangulam dated 15.10.2018, the 4th respondent registered a case in crime No.35 of 2018 on the file of the Anti Land Grabbing Cell/4th respondent herein as against the accused persons.

3.Recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. However, the 4th respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
