ORDER

The writ petitioner suffered an award at the hands of the second respondent. Aggrieved by the same, an appeal was filed before the first respondent with the delay of 291 days. The appeal is yet to be numbered. The delay is yet to be condoned. In the meanwhile, the chit company has filed execution petition. In this background, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.The first respondent is directed to dispose of the IA for condonation of delay within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the delay is not condoned, the petitioner has to challenge the same in the manner known to law. If the delay is condoned, the appeal will be numbered immediately and the stay petition will be disposed of within a period of four weeks thereafter. In the event of condonation of delay, the main appeal will be disposed of within a 2/4

period of six months thereafter. I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
