PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents not to issue any migration permit to any more mini buses to the present route Karaikudi old bus stand to Chinnavadakudipatti by considering the petitioners' representation dated 15.04.2025.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. It appears that the petitioner is giving a representation dated 15.04.2025 to the respondents to not to issue any migration permit to minibuses for the route between Karaikudi old bus stand and Chinnavadakudipatti.

3. Prima facie, it appears that the petitioner is attempting to stall others from obtaining route permits from Karaikudi old bus stand to Chinnavadakudipatti. Whether the petitioner is entitled to such relief or not can 2/4

be considered by the second respondent. Therefore, the second respondent shall consider the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 15.04.2025 and pass orders on merits.

4. In case the rights of the third parties are going to be affected by such a decision proper procedure shall be followed so that all the persons who are likely to be impacted shall be heard before the final orders are passed.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent to pass such orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
