O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1 and 2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with. 2.The petitioner states that the petition mentioned property original belonged to her father-in-law and that it has been always in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner and her husband. Her husband was to take a sale deed from his father but he died before that. The petitioner is facing interference at the hands of the private respondents. The petitioner wants this Court to direct respondent police to grant her protection.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.19551 of 2021 3.Since the petitioner is not having any enforceable order or decree from the jurisdictional civil Court, I may not be in a position to grant such a relief. However, it is alleged that one Ayyanar, Sub Inspector of Police to Nerukuppai Police Station is siding with the private respondents. I make it clear that the case on hand appears to be a pure civil dispute between the petitioner on the one hand and the close relatives on the other hand. The police ought to completely keep away from the issue. If the respondent police continue to interfere in the matter, the petitioner can complain to the first respondent and the first respondent will have to take action on the same.

4.With these observations and directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
