ORDER

The petitioner, who is the defacto complainant in Crime No.35 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, has filed the present application seeking a direction to conclude the investigation in the said crime.

2. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) submits that the investigation in Crime No.35 of 2023 has already been completed, and the case has been closed as a 'mistake of fact'. It is further submitted that the respondent police have filed the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vilathikulam, on 12.08.2025 through efiling, and that the RCS notice has also been served on the petitioner.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate (criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to file an objection petition before the concerned Magistrate Court.
