This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.128 of 2020 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Virudhunagar.
2. The defacto complainant Ponnuthai is present in person before this Court. She has been duly identified by Thiru.N.Kannan SSI of Police, attached to Kariapatti Police Station, Virudhunagar District. The defacto complainant categorically states before this Court that he has no objection for quashing the impugned proceedings. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned proceedings alive.
