ORDER
The petitioner seeks a direction to the 3rd respondent to issue patta in his name by considering his representation dated 07.07.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents.
3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
4. According to the petitioner, he has been in possession and enjoyment of the subject property situated in S.No.592/2, Vellayagoundanpatti, Puthunatham, Trichy District for the past 70 years. Based on his long possession, he submitted a representation on 07.07.2025 before the official respondents seeking issuance of three house site patta. 2/4
However, the same has not been considered and hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner dated 07.07.2025, will be considered in accordance with law.
6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
