PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 16.06.2018 and 18.06.2018.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 16.06.2018 and 18.06.2018.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made representations dated 16.06.2018 and 18.06.2018 for granting permission to conduct prayer in his house. But, so far no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner filed this present writ petition.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents filed a report from the second respondent by stating that he submitted his report to the District Collector, Tirunelveli, vide letter No.Na.Ka.No.A2/9606/2017, dated 27.02.2019 and the same was also communicated to the petitioner and the same is pending before the first respondent.

4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the second respondent submitted his report vide letter No.Na.Ka.No.A2/9606/2017, dated 27.02.2019 to the first respondent. By considering the limited scope of the prayer made in the writ petition, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2018 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, by taking note of the report https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No. 17882 of 2018 submitted the the second respondent, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
