It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/defacto complainant that the petitioner has filed a complaint against the respondent/accused for the offence punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act and even though it was filed in the year 2018, the case has not been disposed of and thereby, he sought for suitable directions. It is further submitted that in the year 2019, the respondent/accused though appeared before the Court and got the warrant recalled, from 06.10.2022, the respondent is not appearing before the Court.
3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul is directed to take expeditious coercive steps against the respondent/accused and dispose of C.C.No.97 of 2018 as quickly as possible.
