ORDER

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 4 would submit that permanent status has been given to the petitioner and all the back wages have been paid to him. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.

2.However, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks adjournment to verify the same. He sought adjournment for the past three occasions. There is no purpose in granting adjournment, since the matter has been amicably settled and the petitioner's grievance has already been redressed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to revive the matter, in the event if the information given by the learned Government Advocate is incorrect. 2/4

3.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
