This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to extend the period of leasehold right for three years after receiving 10% of enhanced amount from the bid amount fixed in the previous auction by the respondent vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.Va7/17926/2017 dated 08.09.2017 on the strength of the petitioner's representations dated 17.07.2018 and 29.08.2018.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. 3.Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
