2270/2025/3c3, dated 16.07.2025 and to direct the third respondent to approve the genealogical tree issued by the Village Administrative Officer, Kottaipatty and Head Quarters Deputy Tahsildar, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District, dated 20.01.2025.

The Writ Petition in W.P.(MD)No.29535 of 2025 has been filed challenging the impugned order of the fifth respondent in Na.Ka.No. 968/2025/C2, dated 13.08.2025 and to direct the respondents not to permit the tenth respondent's Vagayara to perform Poojas to the temple namely Pallakaruppasamy Swamy Kovil, situated at Sandhaipatti village, Vagurani Post, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, till the disposal of the O.A.No.25 of 2024 and O.A.No.18 of 2024 pending before the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Dindigul District.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in both the cases would submit that O.A.No.25 of 2024 is pending before the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Dindigul District for determination of Poojariship for the Pallakaruppasamy Temple. The said O.A. has been reserved for orders and if the same is disposed, ultimately the right of the Poojariship will be decided.

4. The learned Government Advocate would also submit that Poojariship right for the Pallakaruppasamy Temple will be decided in O.A.No.25 of 2024 and therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders with regard to the disposal of O.A.No.25 of 2024 within a time frame.

5. In view of the above submissions, this Court directs the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Dindigul District to dispose of the O.A.No.25 of 2024 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, as the O.A. has already been reserved for orders.

6. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs. The parties are directed to maintain status quo until the disposal of the O.A.No.25 of 2024 by the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Dindigul District, within the period as specified above.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
