O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue the patta in connection with Survey No. 280/5 to an extent of 28 Ares 280/6 to an extent of 823 Ares situated at Nasar Puliyankulam Village, Mustakurichi Panchayat, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2023 within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation on 20.04.2023 to the respondents for issuance of patta for the petitioner's land. However, no action has been taken on the said application. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submits that the representation of the petitioner would be 2/5

considered within a time stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say, if any rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
