O R D E R

This criminal original petition had been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to give necessary police protection to the Petitioner's life and limb, based on the representation, dated 10.10.2022. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner had given a complaint to the second Respondent, regarding the threat and harassment meted out to him by his wife and son, at the instigation of his brother-in-law. So far no action had been taken. Hence this petition had been filed.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that based on the petitioner's representation, dated 10.10.2022, CSR had been registered and the Respondents 3 to 5 are appearing for enquiry. The petitioner also appeared for enquiry on 13.10.2022. Subsequently, he did not appear. Now, the enquiry is pending.

4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner is directed to co-operate with the pending enquiry and the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to take appropriate action, including protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
