2.The petitioner challenges the order passed under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act by the jurisdictional Tahsildar. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader pointed out that the appeal filed by the petitioner questioning the impugned order was dismissed by the District Collector on 18.08.2023 and that subsequently, the encroachment has also been removed on 22.08.2023. In our view, nothing survives for further consideration in this writ petition and the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
