Challenging the order dated 11.11.2021 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tiruchirappalli in Cr.M.P.10727 of 2021, directing the first respondent, Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Trichirapalli District, to register the FIR against the present petitioner and investigate the case, the present Criminal Original Petition is filed.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would contend that though initially a Referred Charge Sheet (RCS) was filed, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tiruchirapalli ordered for re-investigation and that the police after completion of reinvestigation of the matter had filed a final report in C.C.No.1421 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468, 471 & 506(1) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

3. In the circumstances, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy before the concerned Judicial Magistrate Court, if it is so advised.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with the above liberty.
