ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the first and second respondents to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his parents, since the third respondent, who is the petitioner's brother, is repeatedly committing the offence of criminal intimidation.

2. It is the further case of the petitioner that he had lodged a complaint before the respondent Police on 08.08.2025 and they are yet to take action on the same.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the complaint lodged by the petitioner would be enquired into; that the petitioner may be directed to appear before the respondent Police on summons; and that they would take a decision on the complaint within a period of two weeks.

4. Admittedly, the petitioner and the third respondent are brothers and it is seen that there are civil disputes between them. If the third respondent has committed any offence as alleged by the petitioner, it is open to the respondents 2/4

1 and 2 to take such action in accordance with law. However, the respondents 1 and 2 shall conduct the enquiry in a fair manner and take a decision within a period of two (2) weeks from today.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
