ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the second respondent to initiate appropriate criminal action under the relevant provisions of law on the basis of the writ petitioner's compliant dated 20.06.2024 lodged before the second respondent.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the writ petitioner, report was called for from the Social Welfare Officer and they have received the report on 28.08.2024 and that subsequently, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.37 of 2024 on 18.09.2024 for the offences under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 406, 420 and 506(1) IPC, Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 against 11 persons.

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
