PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass orders to implement the G.O.(Nilai) No.106, dated 21.09.2006 and to pay the minimum wages as per Schedule II to the Minimum Wages Act along with consequential payment of Dearness Allowance after due revision within stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the first respondent to pass orders to implement the G.O.(Nilai) No.106, dated 21.09.2006 and to pay the minimum wages as per Schedule II to the Minimum Wages Act along with consequential payment of Dearness Allowance after due revision within stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.
2. Considering the fact that the petitioners are seeking for a payment of minimum wages as per Schedule II by implementing the 3/6
Government order in G.O(Ms)No.106 [Environment and Forest (FR-2) Department] dated 21.09.2006, for which they have also made a representation, dated 29.07.2025 to the first respondent followed up by their latest representation, dated 29.07.2025, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioners, dated 29.07.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
