PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the land and fix the four boundaries in S.No.372/9, Patta No.962, situate at Maliyakadu, Sendakottai, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, based on the revenue records within a stipulated time fixed by this Court on the basis of the petitioners representation dated 18.11.2022. 1/4

The petitioner with a grievance that his application, dated 18.11.2022 for survey of his land has not been considered by the respondents filed this writ petition.

2.Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents submits that due to some objections, the survey could not be conducted. 3.Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conduct an enquiry under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners and on completion of the enquiry, the respondents shall proceed with the survey accordingly. 2/4
