This Writ Petition is filed praying for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to refund the security and other deposits to an extent of Rs.22,67,581/- with interest in respect of H.T.Service Connection No.206 in the petitioner's company, based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2016 and 07.01.2017.

2. It was submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents that out of the claim of Rs.22,67,581/-, a sum of Rs.17,85,560/- has already been paid and with regard to the remaining sum, it was submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and orders would be passed, after putting the petitioner on notice, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The same was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
