ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to direct the respondent police to expedite the 1/4

investigation in Crime No.1041 of 2019, dated 20.09.2019 and file the final report within stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that they have not commenced the investigation as the petitioner was not cooperating to the investigation. He would further submit that the investigation is pending.

4. It is pertinent to note that though FIR came to be registered on 20.09.2019, there is no progress in the investigation.

5. Whatever it is, considering the fact that the FIR in Crime No.1041 of 2019 is pending from 2019, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.1041 of 2/4

2019 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
