This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents herein for making a false statement before this Court which lead to the passing of the order dated 18.04.2022 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6996 of 2022. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that pursuant to the order of this Court, dated 18.04.2022, the second respondent police has filed the charge sheet before the concerned Court and the same has been taken cognizance in S.C.No.269 of 2022 and the case stands posted for trial on 23.03.2023.
