ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to direct the respondents to complete the investigation in Crime No.453 of 2023 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thiruppuvanam Police Station, Sivagangai District.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.453 of 2023 and that they have already examined 5 witnesses and the investigation is pending. Hence, he seeks two months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.453 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
