PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 10 herein to consider the petitioner's request made in representations dated 05.07.2017, 12.07.2017, 18.09.2017, 05.01.2018 and 28.08.2018, emphasizing the following four claims for the National Integration of the community people ie., 1) The Sub castes of Kurmi (Ulavar / Kudumber / Mallar / Pallar / etc) should be formulated under Kurmi Head in each category of OBC, MBC, SC, ST and etc.

, in all the States of India for unity and National Integration, 2) any sub castes of Kurmi (Ulavar / Kudumber / Mallar / Pallar / Devendrakulam / etc) should not be formulated under the Head name Devendrakulam / Devendrakula Vellalar having not good history, and other castes also having the Title Devendrakulam and which is only in Tamilnadu, so that the Devendrakulam / Devendrakulam Vellalar is not at all a suitable caste Head name for National integration, 3) all the 29 sub castes to be brought under Kurmi (Ulavar / Kudumber / Mallar / Pallar / etc) Head to unite this caste people who are living in whole India for National integration of this community people, 4) the faulty word 'Pallar' (gs;sh;) in the list of castes in Tamilnadu should be replaced by the original word Mallar (ks;sh;). ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE] Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the State, by producing the Government Order in G.O.(Ms)No.50, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (CV-1) Department, dated 01.06.2021, would submit that the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. A copy of the said Government Order is also produced before this Court.

2.In view of the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, if the petitioner has any other grievance, he is at liberty to make a representation before the authorities concerned.
