ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to direct the second respondent to file a final report in the case in Crime No.12 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent Police as expeditiously as possible within time frame fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the complainant, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.12 of 2024 and that they have already examined 22 witnesses and the investigation is almost completed. Hence, he seeks one month time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.12 of 2024 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
