ORDER

Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.The petitioner made an application for registering him as a Class - I Contractor with the respondents. He is fully qualified to be registered as Class - I Contractor as per G.O.No.1789, Public Works Department, dated 29.12.1992 and G.O(Ms)No.251, Highways (HN1) Department, dated 12.10.2007. He has also produced solvency certificate as required by the Government Orders. Inspite of production of solvency certificate, experience certificate and other required documents, still his representation is pending for consideration. Hence, he is before this Court. 3.It is well settled that when a representation is made by the persons, it shall not be kept in cold storage, but it should be decided on merits and in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.22450 of 2019 4.In such view of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2019 and take a decision either to accept it or reject it within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
